The Education and Skills Funding Agency’s revamped £8bn school building framework, compulsory waiting period concluded today with the contracts set to run for up to four years starting 27 November.

The school building framework provides the ESFA with a procurement route to access pre-selected contractors.

The framework is to support the delivery of the ESFA school building programmes and will also be available for schools and local authorities to use for their own projects.

Kier, Carillion, Sir Robert McAlpine and Willmott Dixon secured some of the higher value contracts with smaller contractors such as Net Zero Buildings and Speller Metcalfe making a debut on the list.

Below is a list of the 33 contractors that have won places on the new school building framework across 22 regional lots.
